The problem is that governments are failing us and blaming population growth. The most extreme politicians and environmentalists are calling us a cancer on the planet. In fact western developed nations are already not replacing their populations.

The truth is, we have always considered population growth in our planning. But politicians with altered priorities are letting our infrastructure deteriorate, given us expensive welfare systems that create more demand for welfare instead of solving social welfare problems They then turn into politically popular vote buying mechanisms. Creeping socialism gives us expanding bureaucratic programs that over time give us increasing costs and more restricted service. Economically, all socialist programs fail to keep up with demand so instead of planning for increased demand they heavily regulate and start rationing supply. The biggest job of government then becomes inventing new ways to tax and squeezing out more for old taxes while decreasing service and making themselves seem invaluable to the public.

@Weltansicht All the global problems are highlighted to illustrate the necessity to cull the herd. Climate change, non-renewable resource depletion, pollution, ecosystem destruction, species extinction, nationalism, wars and lately food shortages and natural human rights.

Of course, as you express in your word salad there, they promise they have a plan to build back better while they label most of us "useless eaters" and thus expendable.

@FrankZeleniuk Not my word salad, its their main course, all problems created with solutions of their choosing/manipulations with some even completely denying empirical traditional science.

How can you have 'species extinction' if you are simultaneously resurrecting extinct ones? just applying their disassociated logic there, I know full well species are disappearing or becoming extremely hard to locate anymore. But it is a good example.
