The unfolding takeover of Twitter suggests winning control of woke social media may be a more effective strategy than building new outlets from the ground up. And that could be bad news for Donald Trump, who’s invested heavily in the troubled new Truth Social platform.
Still, Trump welcomes the Musk to takeover of Twitter “because he'll make improvements to it and he is a good man.” However the former President has no plans to return to the social media giant that infamously banned him for life. “I am going to be staying on Truth (Social)" he said.

This is good news (I think) and couldn't come too soon. The build back better crew is plowing ahead full steam.
I went to Indigo a couple of weeks ago and they had moved my favorite section, the history section, and completely replaced it with a Teen section. It was obvious they were "re-imagining" the store, that is, reorganizing it.
A clerk, perhaps noticing my perplexed look, asked if I needed any help.
I said, "I see you have a vastly expanded teen section."
She replied with a smile, "Yes."
"Do you think they will start reading more?" I said with a hint of sarcasm in my voice.
"Hopefully. " was the reply and then I asked her where the history section was at now.
It's over on the other side of the store, she told me. So I thanked her and headed over that way.
It seemed smaller. Just two rows and a couple of shelves lower in height.
Today, two weeks later, I was out for a walk through the mall and again decided to check out Indigo to see if there was anything that caught my eye enough to instill a purchase.
I went to the new release section and saw a few books there I definitely would not buy and then noticed they had some new shelves called voices, a shelf for Black voices, Indigenous voices, LGBTQ+ voices. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I thought, 'Oh. OK. This is the reason for "re-imagining" the store.' They are presenting a "woke" image.
I just recently found out who Yuval Noah Harari is so I noticed one of his books there, and in the environmental section. And when I went to the history section, there were displayed more of his publications. A gold "Heather's Picks" sticker highlighted one of his latest books.
Anyway, Mr. Harari is an advisor to Klaus Shwab's World Economic Forum and upon viewing a few of his lectures I concluded he must be one of the most evil persons in the world today.
If you look through the teen section it is full of environmental/relationship/social activist crap and I was starting to feel like a luddite. This woke stuff is burning through society like a wildfire and there is no stopping it. It seems whether we want it or not it's being shoved down our throats.
I started to seriously consider the extant western social structure is in danger of disappearing.
I can see history not only in the making but I get a foreboding feeling that what we consider history now will be rewritten.

@dd54 I reviewed Harari’s book “Sapiens” and although everyone loved it, I found it shocking. He sees everything from the agricultural revolution to the development of ethics, and capitalism as a failure. Harari is like those green fanatics who want to “make the planet great again” and see their biggest obstacle as the human race.

Biden, who couldn't run a lemonade stand if his life depended on it, hates Musk with a passion. It is hopeful the forward looking will win out in the long run. With Truth Social's migration to Rumble's cloud services I'm sure growth will quickly follow. I suspect Nunes may in fact be too conservative to be heading up this enterprise but I'm sure he's doing a great foundational job. With Trump's strong following too many see his new platform as very desireable.
I would not count on a thing CNN has to say. Just look at their massive recent failure!

Agreed. I’m really hoping Truth will find its footing. It’s funny isn’t it, how the people really doing, risking and building are the ones under attack, while the people cat calling from the sidelines have created nothing, aside from chaos.
@GeeMac As to Truth Social, I too am hoping it flies well, both for democracy and conservatives, but also for its shareholders LOL. I own some of DWAC stock and boy what a ride. Patience is the name of that game

@eschatologyguy I suspect Nune's main concern was overwhelming the servers, not worrying about trolls. The Rumble partnership should fix alot of his concerns.

The leftist malcontents are totally ignorant to the reality that nothing is ever built without real people risking their hard-earned capital in ventures which often have a better than even chance of failing. For every billionaire there are millions of others who lost their shirts sinking their money into great ideas that went bust. Of course, many of the woke and the restless have been nurtured on government grants, bursaries, supplements, top ups, welfare, and other entitlements which are blissfully free from personal risk.
Rumble is even worse than YT, that's according to David Wood. Check out his video on the subject in the Fans of David Wood discussion group.
