Midnight's Edge - Disney went up against DeSantis and Florida, and lost BIG TIME!
On April 22th, minutes after this video was published, Ron DeSantis signed into law the bill which undoes the 1967 Reedy Creek Improvement District. Unless it is walked back before then, this will hit Disney like a nuke come June of next year. Doing nothing by then IS pushing the red button.
Since every video is someone’s first video, we will as always begin by establishing some context, and go through the cliffnotes version of how we got to this point. Then we’ll go through what terminating the Reedy Creek Improvement District means in practical terms, before presenting two possible scenarios on how this might play out going forward!
