I’m sure you’ve all heard the analogy where your GOD is likened to a compass – oh, surely you have? I was thinking about just such an analogy for some unrelated reason the other day. It sorta through me off my thought – it didn’t make sense?

Superficially you simply go to your local sorting goods store and buy yourself a compass – your all set, right? You won’t get lost now? But what if one of the scout troop decides to play a prank by removing all the markings (letters, numbers and lines) off of it before we set out? Then all you have is a solitary needle wobbling around under glass generally. ARE YOU LOST?????

Your GOD is precisely like that needle – JUST THE NEEDLE ALONE! The case with all its markings are human made – only the needle is like your GOD! The needle like your GOD will always point in just one direction no matter what humans write all over the case – doesn’t matter in the least! As long as it (your GOD like the compass needle) is allowed free movement it’ll always point in the same direction. That’s what made compasses indispensable to the world; that’s what makes your GOD indispensable to the world as well.

When anything says that upon GOD we trust, it’s saying that it trusts that GOD is and will always be pointing in the SAME RIGHT DIRECTION no matter what scribble humanity scrawls on the case. GOD is the anchor, that if cut loose you and humanity are condemned to drift in any direction – CONDEMNED TO BE LOST!

When the Rule of Law casts away it needle it becomes nothing more than unrecognizable chaos – the background noise of the universe – as it were? The needle (your GOD) always points towards true order – not the mountain of law books scribbled on and changed every day.

Vanderbilt Law Library is an astonishing place – one just couldn’t believe humankind could write so much about what they perceive other people are doing wrong? It’s at least two stories containing the Law Books of every single country around the world and then some. One can only guess what answer you’d get if you simply asked fir the needle?

There’s a very true statement that goes: The law wasn’t written to prevent sin; the law was written to make sin evident. In other words, humankind will find a way to sin – the law is just to make that sin evident to everybody at one time. That’s why ignorance of the law is not an excuse for committing it – because you should’ve recognized it was sin to begin with. The law is written to codify the opposite of loving your neighbor just as you love yourself.

Now, after all that gibberish, that needle is still pointing in the exact same direction as it always has!

Giving up your GOD (the needle) is giving up your grasp on reality itself – once gone, how do you plan on establishing that anchorage again? Remember, your going to be drifting away from it all the while you reject it – your GOD, your anchor on reality?

PS: This is so bad, I have to wonder if it isn’t some kind of Leftist demonstration put-on the rest us haven’t figured out yet? I mean, there’s plenty of smart phones, tents and automobiles – do those belong to drug dealers? On top of that, Philadelphia is a Leftist owned & ran city that elected Joe Biden – what goes here?
