The Women’s Health Protection Act of 2021 (H.R.3755) is a piece of legislation introduced in the United States House of Representatives aimed at codifying Roe v. Wade in response to the Texas Heartbeat Act. Introduced by Congresswoman Judy Chu and sponsored by Senator Richard Blumenthal, the act has been described as symbolic, as it is unlikely to pass in the closely-divided United States Senate.
