America Hates Harris
Democratic strategists are hatching a new plot to shore up floundering Vice President Kamala Harris. Joe Biden’s VP has just become the most unpopular Vice President in half a century. Dan Quayle must be thrilled. There’s even posthumous hope for Spiro Agnew.
The White House plans to keep Harris under wraps in the run up to the 2022 mid-terms, with polling suggesting she’ll hurt her party’s chances in the important vote. There’s also a plan to try to make her look more “presidential” by dispatching her on a series of high profile visits to important foreign capitals. There is fear, however, that with more exposure, her disapproval numbers could actually increase. Her dismal performance is being discussed in op-Ed sections of European papers today.
Harris was massively unpopular during the Democratic primaries, never managing to poll higher than single digits. She only gained traction when she shrewdly played the race card on Joe Biden, a risky, self-serving move that won her an undeserved spot on the Presidential ticket.

I disagree that it happened that way. The rape and race cards (both deserved) got Harris to about 2% at her best. Biden had promised a "woman of color" which narrowed the field to a few named and qualified people, most of which had scandals or didn't want the job. I think it was Harris by default rather than winning the slot.

I like that the site spell check thinks that "Biden" is a mistake.
I agree she got it because she was female and black, no question; but her cheap stunt to make it racial was an attention grabber that made her stand out from others like Stacy Abrams. It didn’t increase her numbers, it got the attention of the Democrats back room. It got the woke media on board. So yes, calling Biden a racist was what put her at the front of the black woman pack. Before that, no one gave a crap about what she had to say.
@GeeMac I still disagree, even with the rape/racist stunt she was still only around a percent or two support and that was with heavy support from the DNC (IMHO.)
Feel free to agree to disagree, we're trying to work out the inner thought process of Biden. There will be fuzzy logic involved.
She is the only thing keeping Biden in office. If we have to keep Biden in suspended animation until 2024 then that's what we have to do.
