It's as though our managerial class doesn't trust the masses to BE managed if given honest information and honest probabilities and honest doubt. Instead of information and persuasion they automatically resort to propaganda, gaslighting, subtle nudge through passive-aggressive bullying, etc. We have the classic issue, the 85s know without any question that it's too fu@king complicated to make statements of fact, the 140s know that the facts can't be formulated in a way the the damned 115s will be able to comprehend, and the 115s are the only people out there who think they're "following the Science" by way of government proclamations and edicts.

We're screwed. On a brighter note, globalists can't pull it off. The question is, "where will the West rise next?" South America? Russia? Eastern Europe?

Things have gotten very complicated. Their are too many players and they switch sides. That is if there even are sides. Some pundits say it's all about money. I think it's more complicated. There are common human weaknesses such as highlighted by Jeffrey Epstein and his rich friends.
Being rich opens up many temptations and opportunities.

Money has unpredictable effects on people. After you have a certain amount of money you may not give up wanting more but it's meaning shifts from things to the power it has.

You may be skeptical of foundations because of people like the Clintons but the rich dabble in social experiments. Ford and Kellogg built their model communities and Carnegie was going to change the world with libraries. I think that people like Bill Gates and George Soros want to leave a legacy. They may even want favorable mention in the history books. Emotions make people unpredictable probably by "design".

One of the things about chaos is it opens up possibilities. It's not unlike mutations in evolution. You can predict what kinds of mutations would be beneficial but you can't predict either which ones will be available or the future environment with any clarity. Few people predicted the rapid collapse of the Soviet Union or that Trump would be president and then taken out by a pandemic. I didn't think Trump would win myself but I thought it would be close.

The kings, king makers and captains are likely as overwhelmed by chaos as we are. Best laid plans of mice and men seldom turn out as planned. I suspect that the rich and powerful are starting to lose faith in each other and politicians. The only thing they had in common was their distrust of the outsider Trump. Even if they share a vision for the future they can't trust each other. They must think they van control China but history tells us even the CCP struggles to control China. They certainly can't control the monetary system because they all cheat and steal from each other. They may even be realizing that the post industrial economy was a delusion and the City of London and Wall Street are being slowly marginalized by the rise of China and a developing India and other markets that until recently were the third world.

The only prediction I can make is that hubris will make the current political powers look foolish. Evolutionary principles may predict that Globalism is a defacto reality. But not because of people like Klaus Schwab but because of communication. In the world of social and cultural abstractions communication is like sex in physical evolution. More communication dilutes homogenous culture. Eventually resulting in a new homogenous species. When you mix genes up it's always hard to predict what you will get.

There is one other thing they have in common. They both prevent disease.

@KeVince No vaccine is %100 effective. But, cases of infection of vaccinated is minimal where as the un vaccinated are the majority filling hospitals right now; %98-%99 of unvaccinated.

I agree with your assessment. Although I see this is the politically correct perspective that has been blessed by those who have the power and motivation to make people believe this perspective, it is still important not to censor it the way the lying left has tyrannically censored the actual TRUTH as relayed by the most qualified professionals in all the relevant fields.

I could post tons of data and clear evidence (provided by these experts) to help @FOTD13 understand why so many of us have chosen not to take this experimental jab, but it is clear from the wording of the post that that facts and real scientific (not politically and financially motivated information being forced down the throats of the public) would only offend.

As a veteran with nearly 3 decades of service, i know what it means to get in line behind the leader even when I don’t think the leader is making the best decisions for the troops. I also know it is my responsibility to disobey (even if the decision places me at risk) unlawful orders that will cause grave harm to the nation or the people who count on me for leadership. I may be a retired old fart, but I still refuse stop using my brain or to give up my rights in order to get along. So for all those tyrants and Karens out there who think they can “shame” or strong arm me into becoming one of the sheep who blindly follows those around me to the slaughter, I suggest you think again. And when you come to your senses and open your eyes to the lies you’re being fed, we’ll probably still accept you.

I have posted a lot of the evidence provided by many of those experts on IDW. Most of it was censored, but some people got copies before it was banned and spread it around. One site that has much of the information you say your seeking is AFLDS.org. There are hours of videos with all the raw data a thinking man needs to know the truth. Of course you can’t just check one site, but after you make it through all that data, you should have been disabused of your preconceived notions foisted on you by leftists (political tyrants, big “News” media, fauci types who stand to gain from their lies, etc...).

As for your last question: my medical decisions about what I do with my own body are nobody’s business but my own and I believe answering any questions about it only emboldens those with bad motives.

You are correct and I apologize for the name calling. You say you have highly intellegent friends who have not gotten vaccinated. I would love to hear thier reasoning if it is based in actual science.

We all make dozens of health and safety decisions that aren't based on science, so I don't understand why it matters so much, but so be it. I'm not going to wow you with science, so what follows might not mean a hill of beans to you...or anyone else for that matter!

I know a few people who think the vaccine is a ruse, a govt ploy, or some other kind of malfeasance. I don't fall into that category. Most people I know who aren't vaccinated aren't looking at what the science says. They're looking at what it doesn't say. Unlike smallpox, measles, polio, etc vaccines that eradicated diseases, covid is a different animal. You undoubtedly know this. To its credit, science freely admits the covid vaccine won't eradicate the virus. It also hasn't been around long enough to go through the usual testing standards to ensure there aren't long term effects we don't know about. These two facts alone are the main reason people I know are hesitant to get the shots. All we ask for is freedom to choose, regardless of whether or not others think we're making the right decision. That said, I'm not one who absolutely refuses to get the shot. My situation is a bit different in that I have a family history of rare medical issues that, in light of the two items I mentioned above, leave me very cautious about getting vaccinated.

Would I go to the doctor if I got Covid? No. Would I go if the symptoms left me with a sinus or broncheal infection? Of course I would. My faith in my doctor's expertise, or what I'm guessing you see as scientific knowledge, has nothing to do with the science behind the vaccines. Ironically, my doc is ambivalent about the vaccine. Doesn't push it, doesn't advise against it. For those who are comfortable getting the shot (like my wife, my sisters, my in-laws, my kids) I say good for them! In spite of what I already noted, the shots are undoubtedly making things better. But they're not a silver bullet, so to those who aren't comfortable getting jabbed, I say be respectful of their decision.
