Ayn Rand, and her Objectivism Philosophy, were summarily criticized & ridiculed, throughout her lifetime, as being selfish for stating the fact that altruism is what tyrannies are built upon.

It should be noted that to a socialist they’re doing good for their fellow human beings – that is why it’s so alluring to them. To a socialist you are the selfish bad person they must not pay attention to – you’re evil. But they can prevent your corrupted soul from harming other human beings by imposing their idea of an altruistic government upon you thereby saving you from yourself.

Think about it! Don’t you think that if socialism forced altruism were the answer, to all life’s struggles, we all are forced to face, that we’d all be socialists by now?

Basically a socialist has an child’s elitist attitude towards everyone else firmly believing had they the power the world would be a virtual utopia. At this point you should begin to suffer the cold chill of distant memory of who has always held out in the past the promise of a virtual utopia.
Yes, that’s why accurate history being taught is so very important!

When they say that (Power corrupts & absolute power corrupt absolutely!) they have never ever been kidding with you – AND YOU ARE NOT THE EXCEPTION!

Christians are particularly susceptible to this formidable trap of socialism. I’ve even heard commentators say that they’re the same thing – socialism & christian that is. They make this mistake purely by not understanding the real tenets of Christianity. One in particular comes to mind by recalling that Jesus himself said that the poor will be with you always – or isn’t that clear enough a statement? He didn’t say that the poor will be with you until socialism is adopted did he?

What’s portrayed as socialist altruism is in reality plain old fashioned THEFT by majority – does that in any way mitigate it evil? Christianity concerns itself with voluntary individualist altruism – not government enforce collective altruism. Besides that, there’s only one government that every Christian is obliged to pay allegiance to – which they do every time they recite what’s called the Lord’s Prayer.
