Personally I don't care much about Star Wars, its not my religion. But this show tends to have good insights into the behind the scenes of things happening in the entertainment industry which can be seen as underpinnings of larger culture in America and West, because it seems for a while now, American culture has been de facto pop culture and pop culture has been run by de facto regressive lefties , more and more overtly since the early 2000's, at least.
On June 21st, the Atlantic published a piece titled “How Disney mismanaged the Star Wars universe”. In it, Disney in general and Kathleen Kennedy’s Lucasfilm in particular are put on blast; but one glimmer of hope is highlighted – namely, John Favreau’s The Mandalorian.
