The big issue isn’t removing “British” from its history, it’s about churches and school kids. Why aren’t the First Nation people taking a leadership role right now. It’s their country, they should just bankrupt the place and tar and feather anybody with the name Trudeau. Every Canadian would go along with this!

The big issue today is residential schools, which were already the the subject of years-long investigation, a Royal Commission, a state apology and cash compensation awards. In my mind that should have been the end of the story.
But the indigenous issue has been seized up by woke leftist academics who see their job as keeping it alive interminably to sow as much division and chaos as possible. US woke-progs leverage slavery, their Canadian counterparts use the indigenous question. It’s exploitation dress up as the struggle for equality.
The end game is decolonization- which is cleansing the country of its European roots.
Canadians are going to have to get unwontedly hardcore.
