Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.There is a role for repentance in there too. It is unhealthy to continually be abused by unrepentant liars. Yes, we condemn ourselves if we do not extend the offer of grace that we have been given. However, there is a time to knock the dust from our shoes and move on. The process should usually be - personal confrontation, followed by confrontation with a mutual witness and then "cancelling." Perhaps it isn't the same as cancelling since redemption is always a possibility. The son can always come home to his father (the NYTs could start making truth their policy, Amazon can restore the damages they caused to Parler, PBS deletes drag queen story hour, etc...)

That's a good point but true redemption allows for that person to live freely again after making necessary actions that are genuine and then moving on. Some people are just absolutely infatuated with the social death of certain people.
