What???
Smokers, who put themselves and those around them at risk, and add hundreds of millions to health care costs, are being rewarded by getting on the priority list for the vaccine?
I’m not in favour of denying service based on unhealthy life style choices, but rewarding unhealthy choices sounds ridiculous.

Smoking alone may not be a high risk. Smoking causes conditions that put you in a high risk group. As a drinker and a smoker I would not like to be given priority because of my habits. I would be embarrassed to even ask. Not prioritizing and denying are two different things. I don't think we want to take fat people and smokers off the list because of irresponsible behavior.
At some point it is just impractical to punish people to make them change their behavior. That is really where we have gotten in the war on drugs. At some point you have to just say that didn't work. On the other hand I'm really tired of the homeless and the gang bangers. They are effecting me directly. The homeless are a health crisis waiting to happen and the gang bangers are a plague on the inner cities. I say build a homeless camp in front of Nancy Pelosi's house and make drugs free there and see if things wouldn't change real fast. Of course she is a monster so she would just go back to locking them up if they interrupted her ice cream tasting.
