Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I got a letter from my alma mater stating that - effectively immediately - all Masters degree programs will be referred to henceforth as "Bachelor Plus," due to insensitivity towards oppressed social groups.
I then received a letter the following day updating the previous letter, saying that - effective immediately - all use of the word "bachelor" would be replaced with, "between meaningful relationships," due to insensitivity towards oppressed social groups.
The day after that, I received yet another letter. I'm afraid to open this one.

Not quite. It would be, "Jack of all trades, between meaningful relationships plus of none." Granted, it's not as double plus good as the old way, but Minitrue assures us this is better.
As for the master/slave drives, you may or may not know that there are already big brains hard at work at solving this critical problem to society.
I take it seriously, because they do, and because it has proven to make for potent political rhetoric. Humanity will not survive the leveling of hierarchicies in nature, but it often feels like that's exactly the point.

Someone will have to create equally powerful rhetoric that goes against theirs.
@Naomi, yes, and finally some are realizing there's a real threat, and this long enough ignored tool kit is being taken seriously by people with the minds and ethics to maybe use it wisely.
Once I understood it I could have used it as designed, but I just couldn't figure out how to turn it toward more moral ambitions. I'm heartened of late that some positive rhetoric is being explored, but it's on the fringes yet.
