Does it matter? If either one of them actually does take over, they'll just be doing what they're told anyway.
Wherever their priorities are coming from, it's not from the will of the People. That's why not fucking with the election is so important. Because when you do, and you "win", then everything that follows is done without the legitimate consent of the governed.
Meaning: without any legitimate authority.
The word for that is tyranny.
