Interesting rant, is there any evidence to back it up?

You charge republicans with supporting police brutality in arresting these people. I was curious how you got to this conclusion.
"Well I guess Conservatives would then support police brutality in arresting these people" is not a question. It is a conclusion.

@Penrodster I do admit I am painting with a broad brush. However, I do see many Conservatives (including many on this site) who have spoken out against BLM protests. Yes, there are the issues of protests turning into riots, but these people specifically attack the underlying point of BLM, even the name, and use the excuse of "don't resist the police, don't be a criminal, comply with orders, etc" - basically blaming the victims for being killed for trying to protect their families based on an unknown threat or selling loose cigarettes or whatever. Then these same people completely change their position when it comes to resisting orders they don't like, and would have no problem encouraging violence on uniformed officers for enforcing compliance.

You can see this attitude with how many Conservatives were totally fine with armed protesters trying to storm the Capitol in Michigan, shoving police officers and spitting in their faces, in their attempt to protest the lockdowns; but when people protested in the streets against police brutality, these same Conservatives railed against the protests and applauded further brutality and stripping away the civil rights of the protesters. You can see this with the way Conservatives, specifically Conservative media, treated the bar owner in NYC who hit an officer with his car when confronted about violating COVID restriction - Fox News even had him on air and touted him as a hero; these same Conservatives on TV spent hours upon hours criticizing police brutality protesters.

@JacksonNought My opinion. BLM became mostly useless as a real movement as soon as they got a twitter hashtag. Though, that says less about BLM than about twitter.
I also think skinny white boys grabbed the BLM banner to engage in destructive anarchism because they were spoiled, destructive brats.
People changed their tune on peaceful protesting when buildings were burned. Actual peaceful protests were tarnished. I have VERY harsh feelings for people that burned businesses in predominately black neighborhoods, those actions will CREATE SYSTEMIC POVERTY that will last atleast two generations. I differentiate between destruction and demonstration.
My opinion. Open carry in a demonstration is stupid. The capital was not "stormed." If a large group with rifles actually stormed the capital the results would have looked different. Much more burning of small businesses and capital buildings.
People are getting more polarized and making moral judgements based on tribe. Police brutality is showing up against small business owners now. If this works well, different tribes can come together against police brutality and authoritarian power. So far authoritarians are winning at pitting groups against each other that could easily find common ground.
