THOUGHT THEY COULDN’T GET ANY CRAZIER?

Seattle is now considering a bill to legalize “poverty crime.” Aside from keeping with the left’s general illiteracy (if it’s legal, it’s not a crime; if it’s a crime, it’s not legal,) you might ask, what is a poverty crime? It is anything that used to be a crime, but which is committed by any of the following:

• Those with ymptoms of drug addiction. No medical diagnosis necessary.

.• Symptoms of a mental disorder.

• Poverty and that the crime was committed to meet an “immediate and basic need.”

This is the trailer for the big budget production scheduled for 2021: The Socialist Utopia.

It’s important to remember, people voted for these clowns. It’s tempting to ignore them. They asked for it. They got it.

But I think something else is going on. I think George Soros is being set up as the fall guy for all these ludicrous proposals like “Defund the Police,” “The Green New Deal,” and anything out of Seattle, Portland or anywhere in California. I see the insidious hand of “The Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy.”

Sure. Figure it out. In the late 90s, The Iron Curtain was history, East Europe was going free market and no one remembered Communism. Least of all the pampered, privledged elites and their spoiled rotten progeny. What to do? What to do,

The best way to make people hate Communism is to give them Communism, and make the live under it. It was a masterful plot, skillfully executed from the shadows, and now, 20 years later, all we have to do is watch the people rebel.

My daughter and her family live about an hour south of there so I find this is more than just alarming. One can hope that clearer heads would prevail and stem this wack-a-doodle bullshit. Of course, when this experiment in lunacy goes horribly awry, this will be an example other less radical cities can take note of and put in the "what not to do.." column before this spreads out of control.

The people who lived behind the iron curtain (and their children) have certainly not forgotten. And authoritarianism is still authoritarianism whether it's under the right or under the left. The results are the exact same.

I remember reading autobiographies of Gulag inmates across the Communist block. Thieves and violent criminals were the trustees. People arrested for thought crimes were the underclass. We're halfway there.
