So why would lefties be commenting? The broad range of imbeciles would be commenting without knowing who Gad Saad is or his political leanings. They could be left or right.

Well I imagine its Twitter culture filled with a group of familiar characters. So probably cancel culture came for Laurence Fox and Gad Saad came for them. He was trolling them, but like in so many example the left lost all sense of humor so they can't understand nuance or meaning.
Unless one is familiar with Gad Saad, it often difficult to recognize his rants as being sarcasm or Irony.

Which is interesting barometer how far down the toilet culture has gone. No wonder The Onion can't compete with real life politics. If you go some 20-30 years ago I doubt, no matter how much he rants people would take it seriously, but today.... anything goes. I mean idea that one can become go from men to a woman, by use of language alone has been normalized and in some countries its a crime to claim its not real. Once you past that point as society, people will believe anything. So if people understand satire and sarcasm still, you know they are sane.
