Amy Adams and Glenn Close are defending their new movie “Hillbilly Elegy”, which woke critics are attacking as right-wing, anti-poor and the “worst movie of 2020.”
In reality, the woke left hates that the movie threatens their core dogma: white privilege.

Was a bit freaked out when I saw this post just after finishing the movie.
It is a very good movie and some fantastic performances from Glenn Close and Amy Adams.
It talks about the important stuff... taking personal responsibility. Taking care of family.
And yes, white privilege does not apply to MANY whites.

I've never even known anyone with white privilege. I grew up poor and raised my kids poor.
I remember my dad complaining often about not getting a promotion though. He seemed to get passed up for new positions, those positions being given to a minority (race/gender) over himself. His biggest complaint was that they were less qualified than himself. When I was a kid, I did meet one of the individuals my father said was only qualified due to ethnicity. He looked like a white guy and at 9 years old, after speaking with him, I realized I understood more about how the forest service was ran than he did. This was affirmative action in the 70s and 80s.
Also, on racism, I experienced racism coming at me just as often as I saw it going out from the whites. You couldn't tell why or who started it. It was a feud that just always was and it never made any sense to me. If my parents were teaching me to hate then I might have understood that but it just was. As an adult I know racism creates racism, hate creates hate, and exclusivity creates exclusivity. Participation in this is a choice.
Re-writing history is not enough for those power craved Leftists. Censorship is now among the arts - the last bastion of freedom.
Vote out every single Democrat NOW. Support investigation into their fraud, vote stealing, voting machine manipulation, Deep State activities and call them on being the creators of the KKK, prejudice of every kind and elitism.
