This "white fragility" thing. I don't get it at all! 
It's kinda one sided, saying that white people must understand what it is like to be a black person. In that case, black people also must understand what it is like to be a white person, no? Why only black and white, anyway? How about people of other colours? Besides, do we really have to understand each other all that well? Is it really possible to understand someone as if you are that person? Isn't it good enough that we acknowledge each other's differences and get on with each other, or if we can't, we just go separate ways and move on? Or is it not that simple? I just don't get this "white fragility" thing.

Hi there. Self-flagellation is what Robin DiAngelo and her followers are telling white people to do (and other groups of people/nations in different political contexts), and I don't know why that should be the case. I can go along with Freeman's approach, easily, but I would imagine it is hard for some people.

Robin DiAngelo’s nutty, woke theories have been thoroughly debunked, everywhere except among the woke-prongs who feed on identity politics. Ben Shapiro and others have shredded this nasty, divisive idea.

Hello there. Thanks for the link. I also like Coleman Hughes. He is level-headed. After watching/listening to RD on white fragility several times, I have to say that her idea is crazy. Apparently, her book has been selling well - worrying. But then, I assume those who don't agree with her also read her book - know your enemy like.
@Naomi I’m a big fan of Coleman Hughes as well. The problem with DiAngelo”s ideas is that they’ve been adopted without question or research by big corporations and government agencies and form the basis of the massive diversity and retraining industry. Employees are forced to attend these sessions. It reminds me of the communist retraining camps in China where people were forced to publicly confess their “sins”. Scary stuff.
Naw, we don't have to understand a super minority of less than 10% of the population (real count not inflated 13% BS from the left) BECAUSE none of our enemies would.

Hello. If one fails to get to know another as a person because they can't get over differences like race, nationality, gender, occupation, even appearance, there is something wrong with them, I think. Their mind has been poisoned by identity politics.
Understanding is bullshit. We all come from unique origins and evolve into a unique world view. What kind of goal is “understanding?”
How about being OK about each other? How about accepting each other on our own terms. How about working together? How about agreeing not to kill each other? Those are the kinds of goals that produce positive results and make the society better for all.
“YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND ME!” is a sleazy way of saying, “I’m special and you’re WRONG for not getting it.
