WHO BELIEVES IN COINCIDENCES?
The FBI took possession of the Biden laptop in December of 2019. Shortly after, The NY Times ran a story that Russian hackers broke into Burisma’s servers, looking for potentially damaging material on the Biden’s. They offered zero forensic evidence for this claim. The story went on to state, “The Russian attacks on Burisma appear to be running parallel to an effort by Russian spies in Ukraine to dig up information in the analog world that could embarrass the Bidens,”
There go those wascally wussians again. I wonder how the Times got a story like that. Is it possible someone at the FBI might have... GASP... leaked? Gosh, could it be that the Times immediately began laying the foundation for the Russian disinformation that Adam Schiff, and even some people with a brain are trying to float. Just three weeks ago, the Times reported, “...people familiar with knowledge of the GRU hack of Burisma, after picking up intel “chatter” that stolen Burisma emails would be leaked in a forthcoming “October surprise.”
Shucks, it worked in SPYGATE. Why won’t it work now? Oh, right. It didn’t work in SPYGATE. Trump’s still here, and that’s why they’re all getting desperate.

So just so I follow this story:
Hunter Biden, who lives in Los Angeles, decides to fly 3000 miles across country, to drop off 3 MacBook Pros at a repair shop run by a blind guy who charges the insanely low price of $85.
He gets off the plane and drunk drives to the repair shop (because there aren't repair shops in LA). He drops them off, signs a contract for repair and then disappears. The repair shop owner recovers and reads Hunter's private emails, a few of which mention a possible meeting with his dad and is so alarmed, he contacts the FBI.
The FBI arranges to pick up the hard drives, but the computer repair shop owner takes a totally normal step of copying them. Once he realizes the FBI isn't doing anything with them, he calls up the most credible ex-Mayor on Earth and hands them the contents of these drives.
That totally credible ex-Mayor sits on them for months, then chooses to release them 3 weeks before the election. The mainstream media asks to independently verify their validity but said ex-Mayor does what all people trying to prove facts do and ignores these requests.
Is this how stupid we are now?
No one who does data recovery would read through thousands of personal emails, even if the computer is abandoned. You'd just wipe the drives clean and sell the computers used.
If these emails were as alarming as it's being pushed, Giuliani wouldn't have sat on them for months.
And if Giuliani wanted to prove their validity, he'd turn them over to forensic experts.

In addition, here is the The New York Post’s own journalists saying they are skeptical of the paper’s stories about Hunter Biden, including the man who wrote most of the “smoking gun” story and would not put his name on it.
On Wednesday morning, the Post dropped what it clearly hoped would be a bombshell — an exclusive report based on copies of emails and photos that had supposedly belonged to Hunter, the son of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden. The Post said the files were recovered from a computer that belonged to Hunter and was dropped off at a computer-repair shop near the Biden family’s home in Wilmington, Delaware, last spring. The shop’s owner, a Trump supporter, gave the files to the president’s consigliere, Rudy Giuliani, who finally delivered them to the Post. The Post has not said publicly whether it authenticated the files.
“I think it was very flimsy,” one Post reporter told Intelligencer.
Another journalist at the paper was even more blunt.
“It’s not something that meets my journalistic standards,” they said, adding that the piece “should not have been published.”
Indeed, reporter Bruce Golding wrote most of the first several stories and refused to put his name on them, according to one source. Golding did not respond to a request for comment. "Is this how stupid we are now?" - Russian Collusion, Ukraine impeachment, rapidly fading 40 year politician running for president, etc... Did someone finally wake up?
Seems like a pretty clear hit job to me. However, Hunter was fired from the Navy for drugs, he did collect large payouts from foreign entities, he knocked up a stripper, etc... So the good side of this, is that any "influence" the Russians, Chinese and others have collected on the Biden family should now be somewhat neutralized. File the blackmail in the same circular file the press puts this laptop story.
@RobBlair if only Trump and his sycophants didn't block all subpoenas and evidence and witness, maybe we'd be able to put the whole Russian Collusion thing to bed. And if, like he promised, he released his tax returns so we could put that whole thing to bed.
Have you paid attention to Trump within the past few years? Talk about mental decline, sheesh.
