Critical race theory continuing to be taught despite Trump ban. Get your kids out of indoctrination camps. Sue the schools.

In Belvedere Elementary School, Virginia. Children at an elementary school are being taught that traits such as “objectivity” and “perfectionism” are ‘racist’ characteristics of “white supremacy.”

Author James Lindsay posted a screenshot of the lesson outline, which is apparently taken from a 2001 Dismantling Racism Workbook by authors Tema Okun and Kenneth Jones and is being taught to kids aged 6-11 at the Belvedere Elementary School in Virginia.

P.S.
People who vote lefty at this stage of the game, help yourself to a Darwin award, get help because you are suffering from Stockholm syndrome.

"Critical race theory (CRT), the view that the law and legal institutions are inherently racist and that race itself, instead of being biologically grounded and natural, is a socially constructed concept that is used by white people to further their economic and political interests at the expense of people of colour. According to critical race theory (CRT), racial inequality emerges from the social, economic, and legal differences that white people create between “races” to maintain elite white interests in labour markets and politics, giving rise to poverty and criminality in many minority communities. The CRT movement officially organized itself in 1989, at the first annual Workshop on Critical Race Theory, though its intellectual origins go back much further, to the 1960s and ’70s.

The launch of the CRT movement marked its separation from critical legal studies (CLS), an offshoot of critical theory that examined how the law and legal institutions function to perpetuate oppression and exploitation. However, instead of drawing theories of social organization and individual behaviour from continental European thinkers such as G.W.F. Hegel, Karl Marx, and Sigmund Freud, as CLS and feminist jurisprudence had done, CRT was inspired by figures such as Martin Luther King, Jr., W.E.B. Du Bois, Malcolm X, the Black Panthers, and Frantz Fanon. Critical race theory advanced theoretical understandings of the law, politics, and American sociology that focused on the efforts of white people (Euro-Americans) to maintain their historical advantages over people of colour.

CRT has spread beyond the confines of legal studies to many other fields, notably women’s and gender studies, education, American studies, and sociology. CRT spin-off movements formed by Asian American, Latinx, and LGBTQ scholars have also taken hold."

What did Trump's executive order actually do? Why does it not cover this? Is it just that it initiated a process of removing CRT from curricula, and that the process has not been completed yet, or is there more to it than that?

Was this a private school?

I would have thought that the president would have the authority to force at least public institutions to stop teaching CRT, seeing he presides over the branch of government that includes the Department of Education... Is that wrong?

First about the school: Belvedere Elementary School, Virginia

This is all I could find on : [belvederees.fcps.edu]

This is their mission statment.

Belvedere Elementary is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School within Fairfax County Public Schools. The IB Primary Years Program (PYP) is a rigorous, internationally-recognized educational program for all students. It helps students to take an active part in their education, learn about the world around them, and use what they are learning to make a difference in the world. Through the PYP, students become globally-minded thinkers, inquirers, and problem solvers.

Mission Statement

At Belvedere, our mission is to create a community of globally-minded, life-long learners who are prepared to face the challenges of a 21st-century world.

Our staff works collaboratively to engage students in challenging, real-world learning opportunities. Through these opportunities, students will become innovative thinkers and problem solvers who value diversity. They will use their knowledge to take responsible action and in doing so, help to create a better, more peaceful world.

P.S.
To me it seems like parents had no idea what is being done in the school, probably that is why when covid hit and classes went online there was some schools who wanted parents to sign contrasts they won't be looking at what their children are being though.... errrr.... I mean indoctrinated.

In regards to Trump's ban on CRT. I also though it is common sense ban on this crap, but it seems these institutions are so infested that its too late. This is what I found on CRT and trump ban.

President Trump’s Ban on Critical Race Theory, Explained

Does Critical Race Theory promote racial harmony or does it "sow division" as the Trump administration claims? And what is its relation, if any, to Marxism?

With the November election just around the corner, it’s only to be expected that President Trump would seek to rally conservative voters and drive his supporters to the polls. So, when his administration, on September 4, instructed the federal government to eliminate all training in “Critical Race Theory,” some thought it was just a red-meat stunt to excite the Republican base. Others saw it as an act of right-wing censorship and an obstruction of racial progress.

In truth, there’s much more to this development than mere politicization and censorship.

Here’s a breakdown of what the administration is doing and why it’s a welcome move.

[fee.org]

They conclude in the article about CRT: Is Trump’s Ban a Form of Censorship?

So much for CRT being a force for good. Of course, even horrible ideas are protected by the First Amendment. The government should never use force to suppress people from expressing ideas, speech, or theories it dislikes.

Critics insist that President Trump is engaged in this kind of censorship by targeting CRT.

Not so.

No one is banning White Fragility, the blockbuster CRT manifesto. No one is locking up those who preach CRT or ordering mentions of it stripped from the internet.

The memo simply says that taxpayer dollars will no longer be spent promulgating this theory to federal government employees. As heads of the executive branch, presidents have wide latitude to make the rules for federal agencies under their control. Deciding how money is spent certainly falls under their proper discretion—and it is always done with political preferences in mind, one way or the other.

It is not censorship for Trump to eliminate funding for CRT, anymore than it was “censorship” for the Obama administration to choose to tie federal contracts to a business’s embrace of LGBT rights.

Elections have consequences, one of the most obvious being that the president gets to run the executive branch. If we don’t want the president's political preferences to be so significant in training programs, then we should simply reduce the size of government and the number of bureaucrats.

In the meantime, stripping the federal government of the divisive, toxic, and neo-Marxist ideology of Critical Race Theory is a positive development for the sake of racial justice and harmony.

.........................................

To me this is complete BS. Because we all know the big tech, cancel culture and universities and companies will ban free speech on other grounds, mostly political correctness.... as form of linguistic fascism as some call it, taken straight from the communist party of Soviet Russia. So this CRT crap need to be banned as well, but bureaucratic attempt by Trump is too slow, too inefficient and cannot compete with the threat and magnitude of the tumor that has infected all the public institutions.

As Carl Benjamin pointed out, this tumor is infecting everything and goes beyond borders. Bureaucrats are useless in fight against this, because most bureaucrats are on the other side. This crap needs to be rooted out by citizens. Parents going to the schools, puling their kids out, and suing the schools for this shit.

Britain-s Diversity Training Leaks Are Insane

@Krunoslav

Interesting... It appears the EO only applies to staff training - not to education curriculum for students. A good start for sure, but a separate executive order would probably be needed to solve the problem shown in this post.

Like I posted in another group. We get use to poison by degrees. That is why Critical Theory (Cultural Marxism) and its more dumped down disguising little sister Critical Race Theory is so effective. It changes the culture by undermining institutions designed to preserve culture and than when all is so weak and you need the institutions to fight against this mind virus, you have non that works for the reasons it was designed.

You don't wait for the cook to reduce the heat all Trump, you jump out of the pot and you take care of cook yourself, before its too late.

@DaveO276 "Interesting... It appears the EO only applies to staff training - not to education curriculum for students. A good start for sure, but a separate executive order would probably be needed to solve the problem shown in this post."

I hope so, but I think they are doing this shit in secret. They have demanded the parents don't know what the children are being brainwashed in, and were heavily against online training, because people would know about it. So I'm not even sure if Trump has been briefed to the extent of this tumor. I think the screenshot I posted was taken from a live teaching session online, where some parent or someone took a screenshot. It probably is not in official curriculum.

@Krunoslav
Yes, they may do this in secret. The first step is to get the laws, policies and procedures in place - then figure out how to enforce them. That will probably require some creativity.

@DaveO276 Yes. I think too many Americans are relaying on Trump to be savior of America, but by designed if they play by the rules, American system is designed with so called checks and balances , a series of mechanism to prevent one person having too much power.

In a culture war that American is in, there is no unity, there are two parties. Anti-American party (demoRATS) and republicans which are not really pro America they are more like status quo American. Corrupt useless republicans who never ever get anything done. Unless is rewarding contracts to some military operations in some far away land.

Trump is like a Bull in a china shop. A system that has been corrupt for long long time, than came in Trump as outsider, who for his own reasons of leaving a legacy wants to be remembered as true pro American president.

But as long as he played by civilized rules of old system, he is by law limited in what he can do, and plus he is always defending from attacks, which limits him further. Most of the republicans have proven to be useless, because they are probably on the same payroll from special interests groups as democrats.

And so Trump is trying it alone, by staying within the law and system that was designed from preventing someone having full power in his position. Meanwhile the other side, the democrats and extremists have been playing by their own rules of cultural Marxism.... taking over the cultural institutions. Entertainment, education, etc.

Even if Tramp wins the election for second term but continues to what he has done, he will only be a buffer, slowing down this tumor but he cannot stop it.

What needs to happen it civil war where its back to basics. One group vs the other. In such a civil war , at the moment I would favor the ordinary Americans and patriots. They are more numerous and more competent than the pink haired tans-communists.

What is happening seems to me is that you and I are living in the kind of world of Jesus, and it took 300 years for Christians to crystallize their doctrine and take over Roman Empire.

The lefty religion is on the rise and its another global one, similar to the impact Islam or Christianity had. It will change a lot. America is like Roman Empire. So is EU.

But lefty religion is not like Islam or Christianity , its more like Hinduism.

Hinduism, major world religion originating on the Indian subcontinent and comprising several and varied systems of philosophy, belief, and ritual. Although the name Hinduism is relatively new, having been coined by British writers in the first decades of the 19th century, it refers to a rich cumulative tradition of texts and practices, some of which date to the 2nd millennium bce or possibly earlier.

That is how this lefty religion feels. Combo of New Age from India, modified for California, Marxism in form of Feminism and Critical Race Theory, postmodernism etc. A combo of many ideas, but with no deity , instead there is only devil, which is the Western Civilization and its avatar, its Donald Trump. A target of hatred.

Utopia for these fruitcakes is the equivalent of heaven. A classless society where there is no poverty, war, discrimination etc. But that idea already is becoming full on dystopia. And implementation of that is very much along the lines of Soviet Russia and Bolshevik/Stalin Regime.

That is why just like Indian religions that did not have a name , we really don't yet have a name for the collection of these ideas on the left. Marxism, Woke religion, hard to name it.

It will take time before it too finds its unifying doctrine or it will remain divisive and someone will coin the term, much like Hinduism was name for all the loosely connected religious practices in India.

This loosely based connection is both a weakness and strength. Its a strength because its hard for ordinary people to make sense of it all and connect it, and figure out who is the real enemy. After all they all use such nice sounding noble words like Antifa, Anti racism etc. So its hard for ordinary people to organize the counter attack. Its not like in the old days when there is grassland field at the edge of town and two armies with blue and red uniforms engage each other.

The weakness of these movements is that they fight more among each other than against everyone else. the Alphabet people still fight over which letter comes first.

E.G. A media headline be like...

"LGBT Pride Event CANCELED Due To Far Left Protests. Groups called for changes to a pride event in Edmonton Cananda saying that LGBTIQ2S+ people needed a vigil led by QTIBPOC+ and trans folx among many other demands. This is not the first time we have seen far left social justice groups shut down pride. In several cities over the past few years Black Lives Matter protesters demanded the removal of police form pride events and in many cases were successful. There have been other issues with "the left eating itself" as trans groups find themselves at odds with lesbian groups over issues of lesbian rights. Strangely, we don't see conservative or religious Christians protesting in this way. For some reason it is just groups aligned with intersectional feminism such as far left, social justice, and even Muslim groups"

@DaveO276

Local communities have interests in the place they live. Global or national community does not. its out of touch and out of interests for locals. And so parents of Belvedere Elementary School, Virginia should go in and throw professors from the second floor window and shut this crap down as other communicates should. If they way of Trump it will be too late. But to do that, parents need to take interests in raising their own children and not be Karens. I hope there are enough Americans left , who aren't.

This is a great insight as to how to fight CRT or Covid or anything in a society that is of single culture and no forced immigration and diversity and all that crap.

Did Japan Beat COVID-19 with a Decentralized Response? by Dan Sanchez

A grassroots movement of local actions has been credited for Japan's success.

"Japan’s decentralized public health centers have seemed to outperform America’s monolithic Center for Disease Control, which has made egregious errors concerning the pandemic that have had sweeping and deadly ramifications.

Rather than uniform, top-down, centralized, and nationwide policies, the Japanese people mostly resorted to diverse, bottom-up, decentralized, and local responses and achieved much better results than many countries that imposed lockdowns and other draconian measures.

As the renowned economist F.A. Hayek stressed, local knowledge, or as he put it, “knowledge of people, of local conditions, and of special circumstances” is indispensable for solving real-world problems.

Central planning is doomed to failure because central planners cannot possibly grasp the dispersed billions of bits of local knowledge that are pertinent to their decisions. And responses that may be suitable to one locale may be disastrous in another. Moreover, centralized systems are exposed to a single point of failure. An error at the top creates suffering throughout.

This is why the policies of such mega-bureaucracies as the CDC, national and state executive branches, and the World Health Organization have proven to be so out-of-touch and bungling in their responses to the spread of COVID-19.

As Hayek explained in "The Use of Knowledge in Society," only local actors have direct access to local knowledge, and only a decentralized network of local actors can hope to integrate and process that vast amount of knowledge in a way that results in effective society-wide coordination and problem-solving.

This may be why the interplay of the locally-driven efforts of Japan’s public health centers, as well as that of non-locked-down businesses and individuals, managed to get a complex pandemic “under control.”

This may be baffling to those for whom “control” can only be a top-down phenomenon. But, for the above reasons, the more tightly we try to centralize control, the more things tend to get out of control.

The Japanese central government did not “take control” in the wake of COVID-19, whether intentionally or accidentally. But the Japanese people did not wander aimlessly as a result. Instead, the lack of central direction left space for local actors to take initiative. The Japanese people rose to both the challenge and the opportunity and achieved heroic results.

May their experience be a lesson to other nations around the world."

@DaveO276 Being of a single culture is not racist, its essential for health of community. Just common sense.

I understand that history and geography are important factors, but if we look at the current politics, its clear which one is working better. Japan vs Australia, EU, USA.

Australia is an Island just as Japan is, but where Japan has gone with its cultural roots, Australia has adopted via British and European influence a liberal and "progressive" approach to forced multiculturalism that is not doing it any favors.

“Prosperous non-white nations such as Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea would be very desirable destinations for Third-World immigrants, and if those countries opened their borders, they would quickly be filled with foreigners. They keep their borders closed because they know they cannot have the same Japan or Taiwan with different people. Israel, likewise, is determined to remain a Jewish state because Israelis know they cannot have the same Israel with different people. In 2010, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu approved tough measures to deport illegal immigrants, calling them a “threat to the character of the country.”

Linguistically, culturally, and racially, Japan is homogeneous. This means Japanese never even think about a host of problems that torment Americans. Since Japan has only one race, no one worries about racism. There was no civil rights movement, no integration struggle, and no court-ordered busing. There is no bilingual education, and no affirmative action. There is no tyranny of “political correctness,” and no one is clamoring for a “multi-cultural curriculum.” When a company needs to hire someone, it doesn’t give a thought to “ethnic balance;” it just hires the best person. No Japanese are sent to reeducation seminars because of “insensitivity.”

Japan has no Civil Rights Commission or Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. It has no Equal Housing Act or Voting Rights Act. No one worries about drawing up voting districts to make sure minorities are elected. There are no noisy ethnic groups trying to influence foreign policy. Japanese do not know what a “hate crime” would be. And they know that an American-style immigration policy would change everything. They want Japan to remain Japanese. This is a universal view among non-whites. Those countries that send the largest numbers of emigrants to the United States—Mexico, India, China—permit essentially no immigration at all. For them, their nations are exclusive homelands for their own people.

The United States has poured more moral energy into improving race relations than into anything else in its history. And yet, in November 2008, race was still the American dilemma. The fact that it was still a dilemma despite so much effort fostered something like a yearning for miracles.

Most people refuse to share their homelands. Robert Pape, a leading expert on suicide bombing, explains that its motive is almost always nationalism, not religious fanaticism. Whether in Sri Lanka, Lebanon, Chechnya, Kashmir, the West Bank, Iraq, or Afghanistan, its main objective is to drive out occupying aliens.

It is only Western nations—and only within the last few decades—that have ever voluntarily accepted large-scale immigration that could reduce the inhabitants to a racial minority. What the United States and other European-derived nations are doing is without historical precedent.”

― Jared Taylor, White Identity: Racial Consciousness in the 21st Century

@Krunoslav
Wow - that was a long comment! I agree with most of it.

I also fear a civil war may be the only thing that can ultimately change the trajectory of the country. 😟

@DaveO276 Yeah, sorry for long content, I didn't know how to write a short one.

I agree, I think civil war is inevitable, just not sure when. There are so much unsolvable differences that only by force one side will impose their view on the other. It could be that there is no civil war and the bad guys juts take over the sheep. I hope that it does not happen. I would be surprised if it did.

@Krunoslav I agree that having a single culture is common sense (civic nationalism). Immigrants should assimilate into the culture of the place they immigrate to.

@DaveO276 Yes, exactly. I support this stance. Illegal immigration is invasion and should not be tolerated. Legal immigration must come by those who accept the culture and values of host country are are willing to commit themselves to working for the good of the community. In turn they get benefits for which they came for. That is the most sensible and fair position to take.

"Wide differences of opinion in matters of religious, political, and social belief must exist if conscience and intellect alike are not to be stunted, if there is to be room for healthy growth. No man should be above the law, and no man should be below it. I am a strong individualist by personal habit, inheritance, and conviction; but it is a mere matter of common sense to recognize that the State, the community, the citizens acting together, can do a number of things better than if they were left to individual action. It is true of the Nation, as of the individual, that the greatest doer must also be a great dreamer."

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.” ― Theodore Roosevelt Jr. (1858 – 1919) was an American statesman, politician, conservationist, naturalist, and writer who served as the 26th president of the United States from 1901 to 1909.

It is quote remarkable how sensible his position on immigration was and how close it mirrors some of the presidents of today that are demonized, like Vladimir Putin.

@DaveO276 Did you notice how little stuff happen in America, where its not American, its Asian-American, or African-American etc. Its how it starts, little by little country tears itself apart. There is no United States, its only States now. West Coast, California, Washington, Oregon, can hardly be called American now, by their culture and politics.

@Krunoslav

"There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all ... The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic ... There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else." - Theodore Roosevelt

@DaveO276 Theo was the man. 🙂 Great quote, thanks for contribution. Spot on.

I could be wrong, but I thought the executive order banned CRT training in Federal institutions, such as say, the Department of Labor or the FBI, where employees had often been required to endure such training.

@DaveO276 That is one of my favorite Teddy Roosevelt quotes.

@KeithThroop I thought originally it banned CRT in general, but I guess it is only in the federal training yes.

1

Disgusting.

People are just going to have to bite the bullet and admit that part of the world is till uncivilized. Mostly Africa, the Middle east, small sections of Sough America and Pacific islands. Is this so hard to do? What.... does it hurt feelings? I guess reality sucks.

2

Home school is a must.

I'm surprised they didn't try to ban homeschooling in America. As a preemptive measures against such countermeasure to their plot. In my country of Croatia, first eight years are mandatory, but for now at least, this kind of garbage has not reached our schools to my knowledge.

@Krunoslav it’s on the agenda, man!

“Harvard prof calls homeschooling ‘dangerous,’ says it gives parents ‘authoritarian control’ over kids.”

[foxnews.com]

@tonkotsu "In Harvard Magazine's May-June issue, Elizabeth Bartholet, a law professor and faculty director of the school’s Child Advocacy Program, worried homeschooled children will not be able to contribute to a democratic society. Harvard prof calls homeschooling ‘dangerous,’ says it gives parents ‘authoritarian control’ over kids"

Off course. The nerve of these people. Un-freaking-believable. Calling parents "authoritarian". Used to be called parenting now its a though crime. Off course it is. These people are sick.

Elizabeth Bartholet. Probably, some feminist, lefty, lesbian dance theory major, moonlighting as law professor.

"Elizabeth Bartholet is the Morris Wasserstein Public Interest Professor of Law at Harvard Law School,[1] and Faculty Director of Harvard Law School's Child Advocacy Program (CAP).[2] She teaches civil rights and family law, specializing in child welfare, adoption and reproductive technology. She calls homeschooling 'a threat to children and society'.

Before joining the Harvard Faculty, she was engaged in civil rights and public interest work, first with the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, and later as founder and director of the Legal Action Center, a non-profit organization in New York City focused on criminal justice and substance abuse issues.

Bartholet is a supporter of the #MeToo movement, but has criticized some of what she considers its excesses"

If Conservatives plan on conserving anything, they will have to start building their own institutions if they survive the culture war, and move the children to "safe space", sort of speak. Lefty ideologues will try to ban Homeschooling I'm sure, this is just the beginning.

@Krunoslav the ban on homeschooling is coming I fear, as soon as he lunatic left steals/gains control of 2 or 3 of the branches and flips it over to the globalist agenda. It will be mandatory to let the global state indoctrinate all kids to maintain complete conformity to the agenda. Deviation cannot be, will not be tolerated.

@NonAgrssvMight Yeah. Soon as they get enough power they will do it. I hope you guys don't let that happen.

1

Homeschooling never looked so good, but not sure how they'd do it.
I think like minded families must work together, won't ever be perfect, might not last, but keep at it.
And your children would have trouble if they MIS commented.

Home schooling is important, but off course parents need to pull double duty of being educators full time and working their job whatever that is full time. And as you said families must work together because the enemy works by volumes in schools , so they can indoctrinate more people than one family can undoctrinate at home.

3

Good grief.... however this sort of thing has been going on for decades in the West.

Yeah, people were too busy with Bread and Games and forgot about their social responsibility of being an educated well informed voter. Now this monster has grown to the point that only by force it will give up its territory.

@Krunoslav I think there's just too much to do.

@2FollowHim Too much to do? What do you mean? Educating yourself?
