Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife.” (kjv) Young Men, all that’s expected of you as a #MGTOW (Man Going Your Own Way) is that you be true to yourself - “To thine own self be true.”~ William Shakespeare (Hamlet, Act 1, Scene 3). The #MGTOW philosophy is pretty much summed up by the oath used & taken by Ayn Rand’s fictional character John Galt in her book “ Atlas Shrugged.” There are no membership dues or club meetings only self sovereignty, to yourself only accountable – “To thine own self be true.”

MGTOW, at least within the realms of social media presence tends to be populated primarily with a mix of incels and those who seek nothing more than a pump & dump. Both groups do little more than spew anger and resentment.

But since you like to quote scripture, if you read Ephesians then you would know that God has placed men in a position of leadership. That said, while it is ok to identify the shortcomings of women in our society I find it incredibly intellectually bankrupt to do so while completely ignoring our own failures as men. Which in my experience with MGTOW is par for course. As leaders, we men do bear some responsibility in the shortcomings of others that we find so convenient to point out.

If others find value and personal growth by being part of the MGTOW community, great. Me personally, I found the only thing it did for me was perpetuate my own anger and bitterness regarding a situation or two in my own life. The opposite of healing.

And with that, I leave you with a short video that I wish would have existed about 25 years ago when I was becoming a young man, would have saved me a lot of trouble in life, enjoy....

Rather shallow opinion of both men and women. Also a good bit of misusing scripture for an agenda but then again mankind does tend to do that. Do not blame woman for the sins of a society. She is currently taught from a young age that her only value is to be better then men in work and doing and not need a man for they are not to be trusted, while being told that they are only of full value if they can get sex with any man they want.

look beyond the simple answers that allow blame games and at the deeper causes that are helping divide and destroy society.
