And, of course, they are also partnered with the Obamas. I'm not too surprised, then, to find that they would move in this direction as well.

Indeed. Netflix does not seem to have moral compass, only political one. And what is baffling is that they are even willing to lose money in stock value and subscribers, just to be politically correct. For such is their religion. They are so woke, they are asleep.
I wouldn't take the Rotten Tomatoes rating too seriously... they have been known to manipulate their scores when "woke" movies organically get too many bad ratings for their liking.

Yes, its well know, and that is the problem. Its not hat people don't know about the corruption , but that its so mainstream and so obvious and yet referenced so often.
Rotten Tomatoes is like that new types of woke librarians that are going in libraries and "decolonizing" books, getting rid the library of its witness. Its political activists, but the fact they are so deeply embedded in the culture and politics is the trouble.
Leftists want the rule of Satan. It’s their religion of un-religion. It’s the ultimate release from accountability.
If there is no beyond here, then maybe the rule of all laws is simple for those who think they have a controllable conscious.
Without any eventually “pit of fire” there is no accountability.

I would not put it in those words myself, but I agree with your sentiment.
@Rick-A Yes, I guess what you are trying to say that if they don't believe in concept of sin and hell than there is only law to stop them, but they are the ones writing the law, so there is not even that to stop them. Only righteous good men can stop them these self righteous evil men. In the end it becomes religious war of ideologies. Perhaps that is the only way.
