A bazillion laws and harsh cops constitutes literal tyranny.
Few laws and soft cops constitutes lawlessness.
We are far closer to tyranny.
That said, not a second of this was necessary. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Nope, it's not just you. I'm not going to give all cops a free pass because there are some (not many) who are in the wrong line of work. But let's be honest...people get shot because they brazenly ignore police directives and make threatening moves.

People on the left seem to think it's a video game where you have to have a fair fight or something. If the guy is already failing to obey and resisting arrest and might be going for a weapon, then take him down.
