How weird is it that Donald Trump says, it is "unlikely" that a child will get Covid, because children appear to be immune... Then, just like that we have nearly 100,000 kids (miraculously) test positive to Covid. It's like the virus has a 'political agenda'.

Not really all that weird.
Trump wants things to go back to normal, and so wants to encourage kids to go to school. Saying they are immune helps that. (assuming people believe it)
In preparation for kids going back, a lot of them are tested. Turns out many of them have it. Children aren't immune, they just don't have symptoms nearly as often or severe as adults. We already knew that. But they still catch it, and pass it on to others.
No miracle necessary.

@DeplorableToo I don't know a reason to doubt them. If there was something technically wrong with the way the American Academy of Pediatrics collected their data, or they have some clear financial incentive to inflate the number; that would be important for everyone to know.

Tactics making anyone who listened look like a fool. It's compared to telling one person a joke and they repeat the joke to another and another even within 10 people the joke no longer resembles it's original content. And sometimes isn't even funny any longer. So I believe even the scientists in the beginning feeding information to the president had to eat those words just weeks later.
