It was Neitzsche who said, and I am quoting from memory here, It is during times of decline that great heros emerge, great monsters as well, this is not a coincidence they are all connected.
This I take to mean the hero and monster is the same person depending on your perspective, this in turn reflects decline and the fracturing of motives that people hold for opinions on leaders and nations.
I see him as both but a needed hero/monster. I'm going to have to look that quote up, I think its time has come.
@CookieMonster I am not nor have I ever been a fan of D Trump. But as POTUS he is the best option available because he is definitely NOT a denizen of the political swamp. He is by definition an outlier - an interloper and he is hated universally for it. He presents a prescient threat to status quo politics.
I agree with you. Trump is neither a hero nor a monster. He however, oddly is the right man for the job.

I agree with you, but..he can be seen EASILY to be either or both depending on perspective.
And a lot of times they are just fluff for those who do not like to read.
