Joe “Hidin’ “ Biden has assured us that he’s “forward looking” to the debates with Donald Trump.
God help us. It’s just too easy to pick on him. Everything, literally everything he says is low hanging fruit. But I’m getting tired of hearing how desperate the Democrats must be to risk giving the spotlight to someone so feeble. It’s not desperation that has forced him into this position, it’s cold, cynical calculation.
However this plays out, the left views it as a win. Despite the bloated polls and media spin, the country still probably believes Trump will be a better choice. That’s ok with them. They’ve already accomplished more this election cycle than anyone would have dreamed possible. They’ve retired for all time the term “liberal” and brought “progressive” to center stage, although “socialist” is rapidly gaining currency. An agenda that would have been unimaginable in Obama’s time has now been forced onto the table and is discussed like it is a reasonable alternative. And their takeover of the former Democratic Party is virtually complete. They’ve been playing this game since the French Revolution. Another four year wait means nothing.
If Biden wins, the left will either keep him in place as a puppet, or he’ll be moved out within a year. But until then, they’ll need him to maintain the deception that a vote for Democrats really isn’t a vote for the CPUSA. Who else do they have? The rest of the current pack has already been rejected by the voters. That would include Hillary. But I think she’d be overlooked or other reasons.
The Obama magic still gathers around Barak, though much diminished—the revolution has already passed him by—but there’s no reason to think it extends to Michelle, or that she would want to give up her mansion and approval ratings in exchange for the dubious honor of becoming just another puppet. Likewise, Oprah Winfrey. She just might have the ego to think she could do the job, but her status and clout would make her unacceptable to those looking for a puppet. I think that would disqualify Hillary for the same reason.
So pop the popcorn and crack open a Bud. This show isn’t going anywhere. And shed no tears for Joe. He still thinks he’s relevant, and no one’s about to let him know the truth.

This will be the most important election of my lifetime. I pray to God everyone votes, and votes thoughtfully, not just according to what our deplorable media says. God willing, maybe we can buy some time until the younger generation has a chance to understand and hopefully appreciate the liberties we have.

I’m not sure it matters. My pet theory is that the puppet masters on the left have already conceded the election. Why else would every single plank in their platform be guaranteed to brand them as crazy, dangerous radicals. I think it’s been decided that the time for pretense is past. No more efforts to cast themselves as the “true patriots.” They hate what the country stands for and want to destroy it. Going down in flames puts their agenda up close and personal and makes it easier to push it the next time around.
A Donald Trump win will be the trigger to escalate the Portland violence nationwide. No one will be in the streets over a Biden presidency
@Edgework, you know, you very well may be right about that. I hadn't thought of it that way, but it does seem like a logical approach to their Marxist movement. How else would they gather support, other than claim it is anti-Trump. They then pick up the die-hard Dems who voted for Biden to join in the cause.

Could be. I still think she likes basking in the glow of firmer first-ladydom, too much. She has no qualifications for the job, but she has too high an opinion of herself to settle for letting others run the show for her.
I don’t think they’ll let Hillary anywhere near the ticket. Aside from trailing the stench of failure behind her wherever she goes, she has a date with Tom Fitten in a few weeks. It’ll be the first time she’s testified under oath. Who wants to take a chance with that?
