@Hanno Um... They're a big part of Trump's political movement. Senile old people don't just fade away anymore, the Republican party caters to them more than any constituency. At some point you have to put aside that they're mentally ill. The GOP certainly has.

5% of any population is useless just because they lack the cognitive ability to be trained to do anything useful.
It is a problem there is no answer for. Unless you think genocide based on intelligence is an option... did not go well for those who tried it in the past.
Political parties (all of them) always target that 5% because they are significant in election and will vote whatever they have been told.
Again, the DNC is just at guilty and the DSA if it becomes a electable political party will do the same.
