Automation is coming, yet society isn't ready because they keep stigmatizing all the very helpful and needed job possibilities for people who lack profitable abilities. People are STARVING for attention, but I would get bullied to the ground if I said I offer friend or boyfriend like quality time for money. Or intellectuals could always use an echo wall to help them to figure stuff out. You know, someone who won't try to put him down because of his ego, and let him take the way he needs to take. Or how about stay at home parents? Children are fucked up nowadays, but if I suggest that either mommy or daddy should love their children, I would get shot in the balls. So many different options, I'm sure you could think of many more too.

I hear you. Where I am from, nobody, and I mean NOBODY listens to you if you're poor. It's quite easy to be... Er... "Not subtle" xD lol I don't know if I should tone myself down, it feels kinda... "Betrayarous' to myself xD Plus... if not being subtle gives no result, I can only imagine how being subtle must be... Isn't that the case? I kinda know -kinda- that I got a very unorthodox perspective because of my close personal surroundings... it does seems as if the people I know is just not like what's beyond them... But... I don't know. Sure hope they are. Must be nice heh heh
ha ha It had been such a long time since I heard that, but I used to hear it all the time when I was little. Made me smile.
@A1fredo The result of a smack in the mouth wears off when it stops hurting. A barbed comment may not be noticed at the time but can stick in the mind and can cause change long after the comment was made. Instead of telling parents to "love their children" why not try saying something like 'With the love you are showing for your children they will definitely want to look after you when you get old"
It is more subtle, it will stick in their minds and make them think (hopefully) and they are less likely to yell at you.
