If you think it's wrong, you don't understand it.

This is a product of a couple years working on my theory.

What do you THINK is wrong?

@SupraLibrix No, I think it's wrong because YOU don't understand political ideologies.

What's wrong. Well, all of it. Sorry it took a couple years to put together something so meager and off base.

1. We'll start with the X and Y axes.

X is labeled "Physical Power." What or whose? The ideology itself? The nation under that ideology?

Y is Labeled "Moral Authority." To what morals are you referring? More or less moral, how?

2. Dictatorship/Monarchy placed together...mmm, okay. But you place Socialism farther away from Dictatorship than Democracy for example... You realize all Socialist nations have been dictatorships or at least had highly concentrated power structures.

3. And why Republic is just floating makes no sense. Nazi Germany, The Soviet Union, Communist China have all been Republics. You don't seem to understand that Republic simply means power is not hereditary. Republics are not closer to dictatorships/monarchies than Democracy or Socialism.

4. And Democracy and Socialism are like comparing apples to cats. Democracy has to with legislative processes and how things are decided... Socialism is an approach economics. There's obviously going to be some overlap between a legislative system and an economic system... but they are not the same things and don't belong on the same spectrum.

5. Democracy. What kind of democracy. Absolute democracy? A representative democracy as in the U.S.? Does it have a Constitution and limits, or is everything up for vote?

Well, that's enough for now. See you in two years when you get it all straightened out, or at least basic definitions.

Ip is moral authority, as in who gets a say in what is right.

As I said, this is theoretical, rhetorical. What the words are meant to convey. NOT what you see when you turn on the TV.

Theoretical? Not much of a theory if you can't even get basic definitions right.

Rhetorical? Not a very convincing rhetorical device for the same reason. And the fact that you claimed "This is the authoritative guide to political organization."

What words are "meant" to convey is easily accessible in this thing we call a "dictionary." Get one.

@SupraLibrix part of the problem is trying to describe the power of a government by category. A democracy can be more powerful and destructive of rights than a republic, based upon the people in the democracies and republics. I understand the theory is power more centrally located, like a dictatorship is more likely to be more brutal, because it is based on the whims of a very small clique of people. But, real life often fails to follow theory.

@JimbobNE That's what I'm conveying. Words are NOTHING like reality.

The arrow indicates what direction they each believe the country is going in.

Who is closer to the truth in your opinion?

How are you defining: "the Right" and "the Left"?
The terms are meaningless without some objective and consistent distinguishing characteristic.
