One important lesson learned over the past 4 years is that city police are simply paid goons in the employee not of the people who pay their wages, but the what ever moron hack has been elected mayor. Oaths of service mean nothing to them. The orders handed down from on high are all that matter. The mayor orders police to shut down this "summer of love" only after the "protestors" come to her neighborhood to pay her a visit. Hell they might have been coming over to say "Thanks!" for ordering the cops to stand down as they have been ordered with every single antifa action since Trump started campaigning in the republican primaries. Bet she never thought of that.

It was amazing. Cops across the country were being ordered to stand down unless it was a Trump supporter making a move. Watching them go nuts when someone like Yiannopolis, Or Shapiro were talking on a campus was insane.
