First of all, there is no international right to ANYTHING. Only a sovereign nation of a given citizen can grant such rights. And only the US Constitution states that such rights exist beyond government. Only a completely uninformed moron thinks those rights exist anywhere else. And the right to decide our own fate in the US, has already been decided in Roe v Wade, a political decision that should never have been made without the nation in agreement - which we are not.
Secondly, as those rights do not exist internationally, and it may be advantageous to support other governments for many reasons benefiting the US, we lose nothing by agreeing.
Thirdly, the State Department is currently a Leftist arm of the Deep State, and a loose cannon on the deck of the ship of state over which the President has almost no control, as the Leftist writer of this article well knows. So the Democrats are doing this anyway, and happy if you will believe their lie that the President did it.
Finally, we are all broken in some way. I'm broken and will vote for Trump because I feel safer with him than a bunch of liars, frauds and anti-Constitutionalists. Anyone who agrees, regardless of the way they are broken, will do the same.
Some people feel gender, sexual orientation, choice of career, and who knows what else is relevant to choosing the leader with the best character. Well that's not very smart.
