I honestly think this is almost not just a drag thing, its like a problem whenever you have children who are also stars or paraded around for any reason. Like I saw a thing on child beauty pageants and honestly all the same issues of that seemed to be the same. It wasn't the dressing up or the fun, it was the way the kids were... abused. I almost think that it should be considered a form of abuse to parade a child around like that.

However like you said, at home drag is fine, and I'd extend that to specifically "kid friendly drag shows" or just drag meetups for kids (with parents attending) that would explicitly ban the incorporation of the sluttier elements of drag would be fine too.

I'd like to add a note: its not us (the far left or contemporary LGBTQ+) thats pushing sexualisation of drag children (its literally only pedophiles and they can fuck off). From my conversations internally with people we largely would agree with this video (bar nitpicks) and more want a safer environment for children to be able to express themselves rather than banning that expression or critisisng it every time it happens.

I agree with the Drag Queens you interviewed. Dressing up is all fine and dandy but parading your child around where they dance and strip clothing off for money is inappropriate. Something that hundreds are prosecuted for still today, sexually exploiting children. How the hell are we supposed to condemn pedophiles if parents are doing this to their own children. It’s like they want to turn their kids into sexual objects or “candy” for pedophilia. I for one will never stand behind someone who allows or even lets their child be part of that kind of exploitation. That child who was being interviewed sounded like he can’t even comprehend what it is he is doing and how it could negatively effect him if the wrong person was there. Parents should definitely think about what they are allowing their child to do, I don’t care how “woke” they think this is.
