I joined this group to say thank you for creating and sharing content on Youtube. I'm not sure where I fit on the list of people that seems to be the new way of doing things. I'm male, fairly conservative on some issues, fairly liberal on others, I've never really identified with any group, and that apparently makes me an outlier in the new American society. I've watched the LGBTQ community in my home state fight for their rights and recognition and nodded in approval but I've never been active in support, mostly because I felt that I didn't have anything to say. I'm not gay and other then a few Bi encounters in my youth, I didn't feel that I had a dog in the fight, I could support, I could hope that you gain the exact same rights and recognition that everyone else should have, but where do I have any reason to speak for you, I have no right to co-opt your struggle or experience. I'm sorry that you are being attacked for speaking to your experience, beliefs and struggle, and I hope you don't allow them to silence you. Thanks for sharing your words and thank you for creating rational dialogue on both sides.
