I'm a cis lesbian that's become scared of having sex with my girlfriend because my vagina is ugly. She wants sex, but I just can't bring myself to have sex because of this. Maybe not a great place to share, but I just posted in a panic.
Stop using the word cis please. You are a lesbian, female homosexual. I am a 55 year old lesbian. Every woman’s vulva looks different. Vulva is the external sexual parts on a female. It has the labia, the clitoris the organ of sexual pleasure for females, the vagina opening and the urethra opening. The vagina is an internal muscle and you can not see it. Every women’s vulva is different. Different size labia, clitoris, different skin to s and skin colors. They are all beautiful! The vulva is beautiful. The variations are like you own unique art work of your body. Please talk to your girlfriend about your conditioning and that is what is is society conditions to keep women in their place and to not explore their sexuality nor to love and appreciate their own bodies. Start reprogramming your mind with the truth. Each woman is unique and beautiful in her own unique way. embrace you uniqueness!
I thinks that's a common insecurity. Let your gf know how u feel.
Straight male here. I have a significant weakness for oral sex on women. I have never considered the variation in appearance as a significant issue; never seen what I would call an ugly vagina. It's just not a thing as far as I am concerned. I don't know, but would bet a lot, that whatever your discomfort is, there is no objective basis for it. Work through it with your sweetie in such small steps as you are comfortable.
Long ago, I worked in a lesbian-centric sex toy store and there's a book by a lesbian photographer in the mid to late 90's that was a photo essay of nothing but pictures of several dozen women's vaginas, showing the differences. I have no idea of the author, but the book was amazing in showing how radically different every woman's bits are. I wouldn't even know how to go about searching this book out, but suffice it to say that all womens vaginas are some pretty unique flowers! So please don't think that yours is "ugly". We're unique in our own different ways. And that's a good thing.
aww babe i felt the same way and literally even made a video about it! you should discuss it with your girlfriend first and tell her your insecurities and then work through them together. <3
Unfortunately, it's fairly common for women to dislike their bodies. Do you have a therapist or other mental health professional you could talk to about this? They can probably help untangle your feelings and help you appreciate - and dare I say it, love - your own body.
Posted by fthemediaI noticed with people who want to be the opposite sex as a trend or way of escape are mostly young girls aged 13-16, gay women with internalized homophobia, gay men with internalized homophobia, ...
Posted by fthemediaIs is horrible and sad that we live in a day and age where mental disorders are trendy and being a majority is demonized by the far left.
