Imagine a crook so powerful that this fictional morbid beast could begin convincing humanity that there was only one way to save humanity from extinction and that monopoly way was to eat all the children and drink their blood as soon as a child was big enough to satisfy a caring life saver’s appetite for saving humanity from extinction with this one and only, tried and true, method.
Would that Snake Oil Salesman look like The Deceiver?
Would a follower of that deceiver somehow begin to develop a lust for innocent blood, or on the contrary, would a follower of The Deceiver be just following orders under the mistaken belief that saving evil humanity from evil humanity can only be done by eating unborn babies and selling their little baby parts for a handsome profit?
The bank account does, after all, fill up with powerless zeros that can be added with a key press, so, what-a-ya-know Joe!

If the Cavalry was almost on the scene as innocent humanity was tied to the tracks by Snidely Whiplash saving US from The Long Black Train accelerating down the Snow Ball hill to inhumanity and eventual Omnicide, as we FUND the Baby Eating Cult, WHO would notice?
