Human trafficking for labor is a big business we know of i in China, but we never really connect the dot's to the rest of the world many products sold in the US are made in China why? Cheap labor it answers it's self. Migrant workers i live with migrant workers for over a year in Michigan it was operation cover. They do not help the economy they hurt the economy and supply money to smuggle family into the US ( not all many) i could tell you so much on this subject. So Slavery is alive and well today sadly because a handful of powerful people feel the need to keep it that way.
