Avoid walking alone if at all possible, stay in well light parking places, put down your cellphone, keys are a weapon, your Alert button draws attention if you feel your in danger don't be afraid to use it. (What's a little oops it was a accident later) unloading anything into your car put your children in the car first, stay aware when shopping many kidnappers will follow you in a pincher movement to coner you or your child, NO children playing in the clothes at the store is not OK 1/2 a second and gone. It's all on you. Leave note to your teens simple reminders of what to do or not, annoying to them yes your job yes. ( your their parent/protection first friend next) many simple things.
