To the nihilistic Left it accomplishes quite a lot. It imparts a degree of victim sensibilities that can not be overcome with any objective counter information. The people who are indoctrinated with this kind of dogma are the marching drones for those who seek to destroy Western Civilization. Perhaps the question should be "does teaching white privilege have any positive value" - to which the obvious answer would be a big emphatic NO

I've made the argument myself. But, none of this is about resolution or even helping out a marginalized group. That's not the aim of the current iteration of social justice. White privilege is just another face of identity politics led by the anxious white radical left, who--as we know--know what it means to be a black victim in America much better than black Americans. I'm just waiting for more of the black community to open their eyes and look around and wonder how the black experience was appropriated by all of these white college snots, hahaha...
