Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Many prophecy buffs forget that the bible talks about two "Armaggedons": the one preceeding the Lord's Millennial Kingdom, where Satan is bound, and the final war at the conclusion of the Lord's Millennial Reign, where Satan is again let loose temporarily "to deceive the nations". Prophecies on both are intermingled and need to be parsed prayerfully.
There is a small but growing view based on several bible passages that God will be using seven of the strongest military mights (the US will top that list) on earth to fight and defeat the seven "revived empires" confederacy led by the Antichrist. The number seven is taken from Micah 5:5, and they are who are described as "strangers, the terrible of the nations" in several OT passages - which I recommend you look up to make the discovery yourself. Or you could join a sister group to this one called "Fans of Walid Shoebat" and watch his video "Kingdom of the Antichrist". Walid can explain it better than anybody else.
But it's not all good news (and Walid doesn't touch about this part): once these seven military mights defeat the Antichrist and his hordes, the second horseman of the Apocalypse (red horse of War) saunters in "to take peace from the earth, that they should kill one another". In other words, the seven military mights will end up turning on each other 
This part on how it ends for these military mights is my personal view. I believe there will be survivors on all sides to repopulate the earth during Christ's Millennial Reign.
