Obama made his big national debut with his 2004 convention speech. But when he launched his campaign in the next cycle, no one really noticed or cared — until he appeared with Oprah and gained her seal of approval. She was a massive influencer back then. Democrats, who always accuse the right of hating women, quickly dumped Hilary, crushing her presidential hopes.
So Joe bows out just before the online Democratic convention, and the Michelle Obama/Oprah Winfrey ticket is launched...
