An employee of the University of California in Santa Cruz has been accused of working for Emmanuel Goldstein. For the uninitiated, Goldstein is the head of “The Brotherhood” in George Orwell’s 1984. Needless to say, no one has actually accused the university employee of collusion with a fictional character. However, the accusation, as many we’ve heard of late, borders on fantasy.
