The socialist ideology for the last hundred years has been sold on the premise that the League of Nations, which failed and led to the United Nations was about trying to insure that there would never be another great war. Nationalism was determined to be bad, diversity good and it didn't matter what the people in the various countries thought or felt. Bring on the slogans and empty platitudes, we will persuade the proletariat, they will submit eventually to "our" great experiment.
