If you were aware, The Blob is a science fiction movie about a substance that serves no beneficial purpose and only continues to grow by consuming everything in its path.

The worst part of that is that there are 456 Federal law enforcement arms without enough violations to merit their existence. That is why the criminal code has to keep expanding, so they have something to do to justify their budgets. Give them time and they'll get a Federal statute against opening your Bible before 6:00 PM or after 4:00 AM.

The first Department of Agriculture was the English Royal Society, a society of scientists. Centuries ago, they published textbooks for farmers.

Today, America leads the world for farm yield/acre, and Iowa leads America. The Iowa State University Ag professors are badass. I love reading their articles. I'm a fan.

Leftists arrogantly presumed to know better than farmers, and they made dumbass rules for farmers, like banning chemical fertilizer. The crops failed.

Global farmer rebellion. World War III is a global war between the Rural Allies and the Axis of Urban.

A recent poll shows that white suburban women shifted 15% to the right recently.
The View says this is like roaches voting for raid. It's symbolic of the fact that leftists think they know better.

The suburban vote is pivotal in the war of Rural vs. Urban. Whoever gains the suburban vote wins.

Red states want to secede from America. Red suburbs want to secede from blue cities.
The point of a suburb is to get away from the bullship of cities.

Democrats say that this election is a simple choice, that Democrats are pro-democracy
and Republicans are anti-democracy.

It's more complicated than that. Democracy can lead to tyranny of the majority.

A solution for tyranny of the majority is to minimize government. The less power that government
has, the less possibility for tyranny.

Another solution for tyranny of the majority is to emphasize local government over federal governent.
Give locals control over their district and keep the Feds out of it. The Feds are for foreign affairs.

Democrats hate minimalist government and they hate local government, therefore they like tyrany of the majority.

Audrey II (the carnivorous plant in Little Shop of Horrors) is a metaphorical character representing Government.
Its the very nature of Gov't to perpetuate and to grow itself until it has consumed everything...

Good comparison.

@iThink @SpikeTalon

Tribbles

There was also the 1950's movie The Blob, starring the then newcomer, Steve McQueen.

@jaymaron I don't see the relevance

@jaymaron, @GaryMysels what does that have to do with the subject matter of the post

@iThink

Tribbles grew out of control on the Enterprise.
