Tuesday, a Russian airbase in occupied Crimea was ripped by massive explosions. The airbase was 165 miles from Odesa, the nearest Ukrainian-controlled territory. The Russians say there is nothing to see, just a routine ammunition explosion. The Ukrainian statement is a bit more obtuse, “a device exclusively of Ukrainian manufacture was used.”-

Just a "routine ammunition explosion"? Sure have been alot of similar "accidents" like that since the conflict heated up back in February. That would suggest the Russian Military is extraordinarily stupid making so many mistakes of that nature, or just really good at spinning yarns for their respective propaganda outlets (most likely the latter, though the former suggestion would be more humorous).

would not surprise me if the fbi caused this.

It was an embarrassment for the Russians, whether or not it was Ukie-made.

There will be no way to verify either story. "In time of war, the truth is the first casualty."

The Crimea is part of Russia. It is not occupied. It is back in Russian hands since Catherine captured it from the Muslims in the 1700s. There was no such thing as Ukraine back then. A referendum vote was held and the overwhelming population numbers voted to join Russia. More than 80% of the Crimea is Russian.

The Americans won their land from the British in a revolutionary war and have occupied it ever since. The Americans won the SW part of their country in a war with Mexico and they have occupied it ever since. Alaska was actually just rented and should be returned. It is also under occupation

Howdy @SpikeTalon,

I've read a number of articles about this. Some say this means the Ukrainians have the 300 kilometer HIMARS rockets. Some say it was modified Ukrainian Neptune anti-shipping missiles (does that mean they've fixed the Neptune factory after it was bombed?). The Russians say it was ammo storage explosions (they would rather admit incompetence than Ukrainian successes?).

A device purely of Ukraine manufacture? Extremely unlikely.

I am worried the west is driving Russia away for good. We are doomed! The battle against the CCP is coming and they have Russia in their corner now. The new BRICS economic system is going to bury our corrupted economies. We are completely doomed because we should have moved towards friendship with Russia instead of pushing up to their borders

Extremely? They made Antonovs and fighter jets.
