Supposedly Putin is going to delay having any surgeries until after May 9th. Who knows, maybe things will really go south in the week ahead, and he'll kick the bucket. Not likely, but one could always remain hopeful though...

Nikolai Patrushev, the current Secretary of the Security Council of Russia, will receive temporary control from Putin during his upcoming operation, according to a video posted Saturday on the General SVR Telegram channel, a Russian outlet that claimed to interview a former Kremlin military leader. The report today from ISW says the Russians didn't attack in the south or east.
ISW said the Ukraine attack on the Russian headquarters in Izyum may account for the quiescense.
I have also read a report that said chief of Stavka Gerasimov was wounded in that attack. No confirmation.
