Is the trend of extreme liberalism is a new form of radicalization?

From my perspective learned through experience -and also studying terrorism as a discipline, I say yes.

Unfortunately, just like extremist terrorist groups there is a very low success rate in deprogramming people once afflicted.

Echo chambers and the narcissism developed via social media -creating a real life (personal) “Truman Show” is one of many key factors influencing the social climate on real thought.

Oh, I think social media kicked over a can that has been full of worms for a long time. The 24/7 news cycle had a rot in it from it's predecessor format.

A new form of radicalization? I think not, just the vultures coming to roost. Not new, but a reaping of what's been sown. Perhaps, an escalated form, but not a new one. A matter of degree, not form.
