I was a hot rodder in my high school days. I really never grew out of it. I just don't have the capital to invest in the passtime.

That is why there are fiberglass t-buckets, you can power those with everything from a motorcycle V-twin engine to diesel engines.

When the car weighs around 1200 lbs it can be some real fun with a 4.
Many have built them on the cheap, the other affordable one is to take an old bug body cut the front end off, fabricate a new firewall, and weld in a floor then mount it to a t-bucket-style frame.
Then there is the other way/style of doing it, fun and more affordable, and quicker to get on the road.
