I have reviewed the document she refers to on the CDC website and note that it does not appear to be describing camps to be set up in the US. There are references to the UK set up, and additionally this sentence within the "Timeline" para makes it clear they are not speaking of utilization within the US.

The national capacity in many of the countries where these settings are located (e.g., Chad, Myanmar, and Syria) is limited.

One must always watch out for alarmist response evolving from a lack of attention to detail.

Will this approach be used in the US? One can only speculate bearing in mind that nothing is ever really off the table. Currently though this Green Space camp set up appears to be applicable to third world countries.
