One point in that article that really stuck in my mind was the following: The United States has spent more than $23 trillion on the War on Poverty since 1965, but poverty has barely budged in 56 years.
That tells me more Government involvement on the matter is not the answer.
Govt assistance has never been the solution and never will be. I'll never understand why some blacks think reparations will improve their lot on life. The only thing we've accomplished be giving anyone money is making them more dependent and subservient. Of course, there are those who absolutely love that idea...
